Pick your poison, a Fiat that rusts and flakes right before your very eyes, or an MG that refuses to start everytime it rains...lol...
The next thing someone will tell us is that Austin-Healy has been revived, and they are talking to Chrysler/Fiat about putting some Xfire skins on their rock solid engineering...lol...

In my opinion the design and shape of the crossfire was very unique and intresting at the time nothing close to it exsisted. This makes me wonder how much it influenced other car designers it looks pretty obvious the crossfire played a large roll in the design of this....Have a look at this ferrari FF kinda the samer general idea. I wish we had more background on our crossies. Maybe the influences that the designer had. Does any one know who is responsible for the design? A board of people I'm sure but isn't a select few or one person normally credited for the design?

As for the Crossfire's designer, his name is Eric Stoddard. A member on here...
Hmmm I need to talk to this man! We should get him to write up a summary of what the crossfire is to him its obvious it wasn't just another cavy, neon, focus, ect... He has to have a story.
Boy was I disappointed by the title in this thread. I'd buy a TF (circa 1950) body with a modern frame and power train. I would even keep the side curtains.
