Spare tyre
I know the Xfire does not have a spare tyre in the event you get a flat. So what do you do if you get a flat? I've not got my car yet so I'm just curious. I'm sure there is some foam gas canister or something you fill the tyre with to get you home but I just wanted to check. What is it, how does it work, and where is it kept in the Xfire?
Thanks.
Thanks.
You are right.
A can of glue and a air compressor that is powered by ciggy lighter.
Not the best. I got a punture in the side wall which resulted in a small leek. Could not repair so a replacement tire was required.
In my option the damage was bad enought to have a blow out. As it was on the inside side wall I did'nt notice it untill I check the air pressure and it was down by 5pds. Took tire off and found the damage.

You may also want to keep a plug kit in the trunk. They are only a few bucks and you can avoid using the goop for most puncture repairs. It is a fairly simple process to plug the tire and use the compressor supplied with the car to air it up. I used it on a simple nail puncture last month when in the middle of nowhere. Just a little added insurance..
