Hi Guys,

I am working with Corky Bell of Bell Engineering on a potential Turbo kit. They need someone in San Antonio to drop by their shop so that they can take a look at the Crossfire to get an idea of the best way to turbocharge it. You would need to be there for an hour or two. If you are interested in learning more about this project please click on the link below and let me know if you would be willing to let them look your car over. Thank you!

I have a base coupe and live in San Antonio. Just don't know if I have the time to stop by. Ask helotiskris. He lives in San Antonio and has a base coupe. But I have been toying with the idea of doing mods to get a little extra boost. 8k alway seemed like the cost to do it right.... And that is a bit expensive. How much horse power are we talking? And is 3500 really the general price? Where is corky located? City area?

You and I have talked about this in the past. I backed off the idea due to cost. But if the price I good I may be interested.

^^^ This.

Just measurements, no knife.

Looks my baby is the ultimate guinea, if the Good Lord is willing and the creeks don't rise.

But, I need to KNOW that the trip is going to be fruitful.

I.E., I need to know that they know that they know what they're gonna do before I commit to the haul

Corky is in spring branch? Near the airport? What will he do to the car? Put it on a lift? Check under the hood?

You should expect performance right in the range with the SRT. If you look at the price of his kits on his website the target price we are aiming for is inline with other kits. I will need to introduce you and get you in contact with Corky to set a time. He just needs to eyeball things to form a plan of attack before John and I race each other there to be first.

Here is the address. I don't know the area very well.

Corporate Headquarters:

Bell Experimental Group Incorporated
203 Kestrel Drive
Spring Branch, TX 78070
USA

He will probably lift the hood, put it on a lift and maybe remove the engine cover to take a look around the throttle body.

Just being able to get into his shop and look around would be a great experience!

There are many reasons I wish I lived in Texas. This is but one of them.

And yes, this is like having Bob Vila build a deck for you. We are some blessed individuals to have Corky's hand in the mix!

Lantana.... I told you HelotisKris would do it. When you are married with an infant like myself it becomes more difficult to balance home time and work.... a couple hours on a saturday become valueable at home.

I am interested in this.... so you have a potential buyer here! The fact he is nearby is also convenient.

Awesome! Thanks Kris.

My car is going in tomorrow for hail assessments and then in a week, I'm drag-racing the car in current form just to get a rough idea of where I'm at now... Clearly I'm not a drag-racer, but the road courses are done for the year and I am going to the drag strip to be a camera guy, might as well play while I'm down there!

After that... it's turrrrbooooo tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmme

Keep me posted on when the R&D is complete...

I spoke to Steve this morning about car haulers, if the 15-hour drive isn't an option for me due to PTO.

Can't wait for this whole thing to launch!

Member Xalidin has agreed to take his car in for inspection. Just trying to get him and Corky connected to set the time.
