Default Water leaking in

Today I went to the car wash and I had trouble with water leaking in around the window on the door. My car is an 08 softtop. Never been wrecked. Does anyone else had this trouble?
Thanks

You are not the first.

A SEARCH turned up these LINKS.

Check them out your problem may be there.

After 40 years of owning roadsters there is one thing I've learned -- Don't take your car to a car wash. Seriously I have seen this issue with every roadster I have ever owned. It was worse in the old bays with side curtains rather then windows. Even the best ones I have owned all seemed to have leaked water over time even if I hand washed them. It could just be a window adjustment, etc. Good luck. I assume the car is NOT new to you. Tighted1 gave you some good links.

I don't own one yet but I am planning to buy one for myself. I just hope I won't encounter any of these problems you mentioned here, or else it will be a great disappointment..

I wouldn't worry about it too much.... of the few that have reported this problem, I believe that most were just a window adjustment. Kind of PITA adjustment.... but no parts required....

The last thing we want on this Forum is for any lady to be disappointed.

Buy a Xfire, a Roadster perferably, put the top down, and let your hair blow in the wind.

You'll thank me one day for this, maybe even take me for a ride in your new car...

It's very minor, and as stated, common with all roadsters - not just Crossfires. A heavy rain at highway speed can force some water in as well, but it's nothing to worry about. Don't let anything so small stop you from getting one of the best cars for the buck ever. Like Kodebuster said - "put the top down, and let your hair blow in the wind"
