Default 2003 coupe - differences from later years?

Hi everyone,

New to the forum, whch looks a great place to be!

I'm in the UK and have just acquired a 2003 coupe (1st year it was sold in the UK). I'm trying to source some decent custom fit floor mats but all the sites I have seen list ones only from 2004 onwards! Does anyone know if there is actually any difference between the 2003 and later models re footwell shape/size? I've posted questions on a few of the sellers' sites and only got one response which was that they only sell ones from 2004 onwards...

If anyone can help that would be great as its getting pretty wet and muddy round here now!

Cheers,
snowman

As far as I know there is no difference for the most part from any year Crossfire to the next in as far as anything like that is concerned. Buy one labled '04 or whatever.

Hi

I had a 2002 SLK 320 and the mats fit perfectly into a 54plate'r. The foot well is exactly the same shape. The SLK was a 6 speed manual and the XF is an Auto.

Hope this helps

That's a great help, kind of confirms what I thought/hoped would be the case.
Many thanks for the replies guys!

The 07s & 08s have a "dead pedal", but I'm uncertain if that would make a difference in floor mat shape...
