I have sold a number of cars since I retired 10 years ago. I get Carmax purchase offer price and selling prices. Then shoot for something in the middle after adjusting for condition.

The cars I took to Carmax were all low milage creampuffs and the Carmax offer was typically $500 over KBB.

Honestly, for someone to put that car back to a clean 34K mileage car, would take some money and time if you want it nice. Personally I wouldn't even consider that car in 'good' condition for its mileage. If I were to buy it, I wouldn't go more than 7500, maybe 8000. I would have to see it in person before making a final decision.

It is none of my business, but you mention a lien. You may have to borrow money to pay the difference off between the balance and sale price. The previous owner of my car had to do that to release the title.

I set my reserve at 6500 on Ebay and its been met.

I had a few in person visits with offers in the 8K range and there is always Carmax.
