Question head room

Gday guys I live in Australia and Im about to buy my dream car which is..you guessed it a Chrysler Crossfire . At the moment you car buy a 2004 model with only 75000km for under $22000.00.
I reckon thats a steel. As a car that I am looking to keep long term I believe it would be an Investment if looked after, would you agree?
My biggest concern is my height im about 6'1 and a bit and I dont have a car close by to test can anyone help?

Welcome, to the forum. I'm 6'2", 210lbs and my car fits like a glove. The trick is playing around with the power seat for a few minutes and you will find the "sweet spot".
If you find a "Base" car, there is no power seat, but everybody says the cloth seat offers even more room, so there shouldn't be any problem.
Good Luck with your search. These cars are very easy to get attached to.
I've owned my 04 since it was new.

At 6 foot I have alot of room. I have the non-powered seat and they have a lever on the side that drops the seat a couple of inches. It is spring loaded so most seats are in the up position. Body wieght depresses them when you move it. 6 foot and room for a helmet!

I'm not up that high but I can say that there's a surprising amount of room inside once you're there. What I do want to say is be aware that almost no one knows anything about what to do when something goes wrong. I have a 2004 with less than 7000 miles on it and it's been just a lump of iron for a couple of months now as the local Chrysler dealer doesn't have anyone trained to service it and two local foreign car shops have said that they know nothing about it. It has been suggested that I ship it 150 miles to Seattle where I might find a good repair place but since it's 99% Mercedes, I'm going to ship it to the nearest Mercedes Dealer. Just beware, it can happen.

I was also worried about head room before I bought my crossfire a couple weeks ago, I have the same story as this guy^. I'm 6' 2" and 215lbs, I fit in my crossfire very well, it's very comfortable. Contrary to what others have found, my power seats offer more head room than the base model (with manual seats) that I test drove a month ago. Good luck buying a crossfire, you won't regret it!

The only time I had an issue in the drivers seat of the crossfire is when I wore a helmet. Other than that no issues. I'm 6' and prefer to sit closer to the wheel and with the seat back up.

I'm 6'2" with both a Coupe and a rag top. The Vert seems to have a wee bit more room above.

The convertable is also easier to get into with the top down.

Crossies are great buys and wonderful habits to form.

Enjoy

Chuk_138 is 6'4" & while I won't say the fit is no problem, he fits even with a helmet. Just like everyone else said, he had to find the sweet spot when we picked the car up. I am not to move the seat under penatly of death.

You will love this car but if you really want the extra space buy a base coupe or a special edition roadster. They will have the most head room.
