Bentley vs crossfire

If you think, with two small children, you are going to afford multiple exotics, I need to transfer to your job field

The difference - those people already have exotics in their garage and still do not feel the need to brag about it, because they are secure with themselves.

So YOU said it a whole lot nicer than how I said it (but I edited mine).

It doesn't matter what you own, could own, did own, how much money is in your account, how big your house is (although garage size can make someone jealous), what kind of job you have, etc. That's what makes our group cool - we have every & all walks of life. For some people the XF is just a daily driver for a few years and for others it's a once in a lifetime dream car. If you want to chest thump then go buy a corvette.

And for the record, I have been asked at least 5+ times if my car was a Bentley, but the complete debadge and rims throw people off. I accidently laughed at one girl because I was so thrown off by her question

Sometimes I need to follow my own advice as well.

If he thinks it's bad here, he'd better be careful with the Corvette crowd.
As a former C4 & C5 owner, I happened to mention on another forum (MG), that my SRT6 was faster than my C5, and MAN did those vette owners on there spit the dummy out ! ............

It has become such a running joke with Car And Driver, Motor Trend, Road & Track, etc... that they regularly make intentional digs to the Vette owners in anticipation of the onslaught of email. I love the "BAckfires" section of Car and Driver every month because there is always (without fail) a Corvette owner that is steaming about a second-place finish to a Porsche. Or a GT-R, that really gets 'em going.
Corvettes are plenty fast, and very respectable machines. It's just the clientele that goes with them that I don't like. Most of them don't know how to drive, but they would rather wrap their Vette around a telephone pole than to admit they need a lesson or two in handling the power.
But they are delightfully easy to troll, because they can't wrap their head around another car being faster than their low-12.

Like many of us, family is our # 1 priority. And I always make time to still spend hours in my Crossfire and some get togethers. I also spend a lot of time with my 3 grandchildren besides working a lot. You only live once, so make the most of it when you have the chance.
