Default I've signed up for a XFIRE! Auto in Graphite!!!!

I've taken the plunge and ordered a new Graphite Xfire!

The Dealer in Stockport (England) was doing too good a deal to pass.

900 deposit and 279 per month for 12 months! (Then hand it back)

One question. When will it need it's first service?

Excited!!!!!

Congrats! The monitoring system built into the car will show you right on the dashboard how many miles until service required. It constantly adjust itself as you drive, so nobody can tell you exactly when. It defaults to 7000 miles, but for example I'm at just over 7100 and it says I still have about 1200 to go.

Welcome Mel ... Another UK one

The computer tells you when it needs servicing. This will be dependant on your style of driving and how many stop starts you do I believe.

Could be as low as 9000 miles or as high as 16000 I have been told.

Thanks guys. It's always nice to be able to speak to like minded people.

Is there such a thing as a Luggage Cover? If so where could I get one?

Mel

MelCragg,

My service interval seems to be indicating 10000 miles. This is what the dealer told me the UK models had been set to.

There are several threads on the boot cover. There are some pictures in Saldous' gallery.

You UK folks can get a boot cover from your dealer, but can't get lugagge. Exactly the opposite over here in USA.

I'm paying 350 a month. How did you get it so cheap? Just a 1 year lease?

Yup. It is a 1 year lease. 900 + 12 x 279.

Apparently Sytner bought 30 odd cars for a fleet order that didn't materialize.

They are now shifting them for peanuts!

Grab a bargain. I might buy 2!

Sorry but donft believe it! UK Crossfires have depreciated to the tune of 6k in eight months so these figures just donft stack up. Dealers might be money-grabbing tossers, but they're not stupid.

Charming turn of phrase!

Ring them up, they had 30 cars on this deal and by midday yeaterday they has sold 15 of them.

Chrysler have knocked off 4k from the price to start with, then they are throwing money at the residuals.

Kings Stockport. 0161 432 6000

It is true. I have signed on the dotted line!
