The 4 door crossfire, the airflite
The 4 door crossfire, the airflite
I just discovered the Airflite and was mildly blown away at the idea of a 4 door crossfire

Re: The 4 door crossfire, the airflite
The only rage about a 4 door coupe is that it is about the only thing you can buy any more. Chrysler wasn't ahead of its time, it was just the beginning of the end !!!! Sports Cars don't have 4 doors. Put 1000 horsepower in a 4 door sedan and it still sucks.
Re: The 4 door crossfire, the airflite
The linked rendering of a stretched SRT-6 with a rear door seems to be as old as the internetz. That said, I have always thought of this graphic artists concept as a winning idea. I would have been seriously interested in this car if it was ever made. Now there are plenty of 4 door coupes as another poster said - think Porsche Panamera. This concept the OP posted, while interesting, has lost the lines of the Crossfire - probably to make a more practical 4 seater (widened the body and beefed up the outer sheet metal).
