So what does this mean in xtra HP on my XF coupe with normally 225 horses ?
Is this a soft ware patch i down load, or loaded o to a dongle to plug in to the coms port on the car ?
I've seen little power plug ins on ebay for $100 that only give 20 more hp, not worth the money i do t think....
Whats all this "cable" issue.
Please can some one explain the whole package on this, as this appears to be a state side deal, not heard of any one on this side of the pond getting this.

Heya GrantB, they are a high end (thats why they work on tunes for us) tuning software company who has provided XF's with top-of-the-line tunes for our girls. The regular price for their N/A tune is @ $582.00, so this $300.00 deal is real good. It also includes the remote tune cable so they can tune from almost anywhere you can get a signal. Check out this link ( Eurocharged Performance and Tuning- Exotic and European Tuning Specialists ). If I were you I would jump on this!

this seems like a really good deal, I would like to purchase this, but I haven't researched this much. Are there any threads about this tune I can read?
Quick questions:
So I get unlimited re-tunes as I upgrade exhaust, intake, injectors, or spark plugs?
Is this 300 a flat rate? or do I have to buy software etc.
Will I lose gas mileage or increase wear on engine?
Thanks !

Sorry Max, but have you been drinking?
I know you are aware, but that is crank HP, not anywhere near power to the wheels...
We can let this one slide, my friend
all good john , Good to talk with you , For any of you out there you need to check out John car it one of best looking crossfire out there , and i will say it one more time the tune is a great deal stop asking ?????????????????????????? and do it , Make our cars hell of alot more fun
What I am trying to figure out, is if this is actually a "tune" or just a software upload. It seems like if they were to tune your car, you would need a dyno??? How do they factor in changes like an Intake throttle boddy etc. without a dyno?
I would hazard a guess that because all our motors are close to the same, and there are so few mods out there, that they have done enough to be pretty damn close. But, as always, if you are trying to wring every last HP out of it, a dyno tune, which they offer as well, is the only way to go.
Like Boiler said, it is in fact a tune, it's just not specific for your car. It is specific for the engine. You can always have an authorized dealer do a dyno tune but, again as Boiler said, I don't think you'd get a much different result. The tune (and I hope someone will correct me if I'm wrong) doesn't take into account that you might have a CAI or bigger TB but the difference in tuning would be negligible.
