Default Crossfires no longer eligible for dealer service coupons

I got a flyer from my local dealer who does all the work on my car. It says:

"Offer valid only for Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Plymouth, Eagle and Fiat vehicles except Chrysler Crossfire." (italics are mine)

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, as we used to say in the service. Are they trying to orphan our model just as the Benz dealers have?

What was the offer? Oil and filter changes perhaps?

Last I heard our Free Oil Chnges for life was still in play here in St Louis at Gateway Chrysler Dodge

The crossfire has always been ineligible for these deals. Just like most SRT vehicles.

No, you do not understand. I, as all Crossfire owners, know we do not qualify for the $24.95 oil change special.

One coupon celebrates Mopar's 75th anniversary by offering $50 off any maintenance -- I repeat, ANY MAINTENANCE, over $250. Crossfires are specifically excluded and are the only model excluded of all Chrysler and Fiat products.

Please re-read and re-think.

Thanks.

To the OP, you may be right, but it also may be that it is specific to a certain Chrysler dealership franchise in your area. A lot of times the coupons that come out are sponsored by Chrysler corporate, but may be tailored to the individual owner of the franchise who distributes the promo materials with their own "flare", so to speak.

I got the same flyer - no coupons for Crossfire. I did get a very nifty "Imported From Detroit" decal, though... Did you guys get the decal too?

Its a ***-for-tat for having to replace so many rear windows on the roadsters... The accounting guys have to charge it to the XF model line to spread it across the owners, ie, no discounting to XF owners to make up revenue.....

Here is a coupon directly from Chrysler. It has my Crossfire VIN printed right on it. Then it also says the Crossfire is excluded.

I talked to my service advisor about this and registered my disappointment. He said I should bring it up the next time I need service to see what can be done. I know a lot of you out there don't like to use dealers, but mine is mostly excellent and I spend a lot of money there annually including having bought my wife's last truck there. If they don't want my business they'll make it clear.

My dealer gives two for one oil changes but not on my car because of the amount of synthetic needed for the job. But occasionally they do send out a 10% off any service coupon which I've used in the past. And he has loaner cars and that's worth more to me than a little discount.

I'm afraid some members aren't reading the post. We all know we don't qualify for the $24.95 oil change.

These coupons ARE the 10% off to which you refer. The fine print specifically excepts Crossfires and NO other Chrysler (any division including Jeep) or Fiat vehicle.
