Took a few new pics on a drive up Mt Rainier. Beautiful back drop. Just thought I would share. They are posted in my album. Was a gorgeous day!!!!!!

Awesome pictures I was stationed at Ft. Lewis 1977 - '79 and lived in Lacey. It's been a long time since I've seen Mt Rainier. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. I really liked the North West.

I was at Lewis for 6 months in '68-69. I saw the sun twice. Beautiful country but if you need sunshine in the winter this is not the place for you.

Shame you can't fit a showboard in the back of the XF and head to the mountains! I'm a snowboarder and use the indoor snow-domes in the UK, but have to take my girlfriends car to fit the board in. :-(

For sunshine in the winter (if the pass is open) drive to Yakima... That's were the sun winters in Washington...

Nice picture with Mt Ranier in the background. That is a pretty sight. My daughter lives in Puyallup and you can see the Mt from her deck in the winter after the trees around her house lose their leaves.

Well if we were rabbits, you might have been one of the firsts but you are no longer alone.
