The passenger side mirror broke for the second time and I was wondering if anyone has ever changed the internals in the mirror housing and if any are available from any dealer. The die casting inside is very frail and really not worth much. If the internals can be changed, how did you do it? This would allow the purchase of an unpainted mirror and not having to paint it.
Any info out there?
