Default Insurance Premiums? How much do you pay?

Though I would get some ideas what everyone is paying for their model crossfire in terms of comprehensive full car insurance cover? it would be interesting to know what demographic areas charge what...

Do not include your compulsory 3rd party (CTP greenslip) cover - not sure what you guys would call this in the states...

If you can list your model, year, location, age, price/cover - I will go first.

2004 crossfire limited manual coupe
Sydney, Australia
25 Years
Premium cover $1,535.00 per year (for $30,000 cover)

05 roadster limited with a stick
Boise Idaho
31
Yearly I pay about $550 for full coverage (comprehensive, collision, liability and towing). Basically covers my car up to full value, even if the person that hits me has no insurance. If some random act damages/totals my car I am also fully covered there as well. If I hit something or someone with it insurance will pay the amounts my state requires for coverage.

In the Netherlands i pay:

Motor vehicle tax: €760 ($ 935)
Full Insurace:€1886 ($ 2320)
Price for gas: €6,80 ($8,36) a gallon

So without driving a single mile i'm down $3255 every year!

Thats 1 crossfire every 2/3 years, i pay in taxes and insurance, because i'm 22 i have to pay a lot more then others. Even had to call 5 insurance company's when i finally found one who would consider to insure me. Seems its to much of a risk. If i had bought the SRT6 i would be completely f*cked.

21 years young, through USAA I pay $95 a month for full coverage on my '05 limited used to pay $160 a month for my Scion TC full coverage. Pretty happy with the change.

I am 29 with a limited Coupe and recently went from it being a daily driver to a 'fun car' that is driven less frequently.

I went from a little over $100 a month to right around $50, but my driving record is not the best and I have a total loss on my file still, so in a little over a year, that all should drop about 20%...

I'm 35 and insurance works out to about $50/month for full coverage with $100 deductible on Comprehensive. Car is an '05 Limited Coupe. In the states we have some pretty big discounts for insurance though, owning a house, having a perfect driving record, being married, being over 30 and having a multiple car policy really help to keep things down.

2005 SRT-6
Derby (Wichita), KS, USA
45 years old
Full Coverage is $1,327 per year for the Xfire ONLY (liability only would be $372/year) with a $500 deductible (comp or collision)
Multiple cars and home are on the same policy so that helps a little
Pretty clean claims record, but I have two teenagers of driving age that push my full coverage rates up a bit, one which has already totaled one of my cars, and NO, she doesn't touch the Xfire

Ours seems high compared to some of you: We pay $114/mo., towing, comprehensive (car is still financed) through AAA...but that does include our S-10...Our 1997 Sebring and the S-10 were less than $100/mo., same policy...

Seems that the more vehicles you have, the better your rate is...

Absolutely, add in a house, or two, and be over 30 and married with kids, you are made, as long as you don't have any tickets or wrecks...

I pay around $115 a month for full coverage on my crossfire, triumph and liability on my van and two bikes under 100cc. I have my house insured with the same company although it is billed separately.
