Default Multi-purpose Tool... Who needs one???

Hey Guys, I have a buddy of mine that owns a Waterjet machine and is going to make me a multi tool. He said he could duplicate it exact in Stainless Steel, Aluminium or Steel. Price will be based on how many he has to make and in what material. He ball parked them in steel @ $35.00 to $40.00 each in bulk. If anybody wants one let me know so I could get a head count and let him know. Beats the dealers price. Vinny

Here you go then, I'll time you.
Material is .125 - .140 thick.

Umm.. did I say I'll knock one out.. ? I even set my plate down to respond... tell you enough? If it pleases you I'll throw one at lunch in your email. (dxf - 2000 compatable as most machines like that version)

Oh.. and when drawing it and saving as a dxf.. Autocad could care less how thick it is...

And as a bonus feature.. I could go ahead and spend an extra 5 minutes (older quad core processor ) and send you the Solidworks file for your viewing pleasure where thickness will be included.. Hope your at 2012 version.

Oh! I thought you would do it in 3D.

That is my drawing/tracing you posted above, I posted it a while back.
I have
AutoCad 2005 and SolidWorks 2011 now, but I just traced it a few years ago.

New update.. I'm burning six of these when we get an opening on the burn table (very soon).. Figuring six bucks shipping should cover cost.. PM me if you need one. Have 5 openings available. US shipping..

Canada.. well looks like you might be able to import from CAA#4 .. looks like we are having Canadian participants!

HEY.. did somebody say "Door Prizes" at TMS Laps for Charity? LOL.

Well like I say it is a plasma burner so they aren't going to be "pristine works of art" and I'm not going to spend time to polish them out.. borrow a dremel if you have to have that..LOL.

Now if we want to start a list for brushed and or polished stainless steel.. I can send the DXF out for bids from the companies with laser machines. .. but they ain't gonna be cheap by any means..

Second thought.. probably cheaper than what I've seen them for on Ebay! LOL.

I'm out of the first run on these... I'll see if I can get another round burned out. Boss is pretty easy going so another round of freebies shouldn't be a problem. Just may take a few days to get it done up.
I'll post up in here when they are available again.
