Yes, a John Kerry sign would really have cheapened the car. Not to mention make it look like a loser mobile.

While I never thought I'd like it, I do. It may not be something I'd choose for myself but I think it is tasteful and you did a great job.

But as Wes said, all that is important is that you like it. Enjoy!

I like them, too. More and more, I see cars of all kinds flamed in various ways, and each is classier then the one before. Yours looks great! Enjoy!

Not what I'd put on my car, but they look nice.

Derek, HDDP, has pin strips on his, I've consider having them painted on mine.

I like the flame design and the way they came out on your Alabaster ... :-)
I was actually thinking of something similar for my Blaze but I am looking for more "ghosted" ones. I have seen a PT where you had to look twice to make them out from certain angles...and could see them clearly on another.

If I could add one little critique I would have placed the origin of the flames centered on the gilles of the Xfire to give the appearance they come from the engine bay

Once again...I appreciate the comments...As for the placement, we had them just behind the vent grills to begin with. Then moved them around and this looked cleaner to me....The flames actually do appear to fade in and out..The pics I took were snapped in very low light in order to get posted as soon as I did..I have a show Saturday and a photographer from a magazine lined up to do some professional pics..Hope to post those for a better true image...We had to remove the wax in order to apply them..Hope by show time to have a fresh coat of CrystalGurad on and no less than 5 coats of wax..This should make them blend in with the finish...Anyone thinking of doing something like this, make sure you do your homework up front...A good graphics designer can make all the difference in the world..They can take a pic of your car, design several things you like and impose it on your car. That way you can get an idea if you like it or not...We spent about 12-15 hours alone just on a design..
Gotta jump in the Xfire and head out to work..
Have a great day everyone and thanks..

Tony
