My cupholder broke today...
I got in my car this morning and noticed that my cupholder was up.
Hmmmm I think to myself, I NEVER use it, so why is it up? Go to try to close it.....and it won't latch closed!
Son of a gun....now I have to go the the dealer and let one of their goons take apart my car

Stan37: Wow, both broke. That is 100% failure between the two of us and our three cars...I hope that is not a trend, but I am afraid it may be.
Andrew: Boy, a tray would be a 10000000% improvement over something that is totally useless, and then breaks when not being used. Thanks.

Afraid to jump in with bad news, but my cupholder broke today too. I took a can of soda out of it, and the lid came up with the can
well, i'm not going to say they came up with the best design they could have but i've had mine about a year and after a little time getting used to it and finding a cup that works well, i'm happy with it.
i think there are several design matters, ergonomically, where you have to adapt to the car 'cause it sure ain't gunna adapt to you.
cruise control, window switches, cup holder.
i guess it's part of the charm.

yup. With the right cup, the Crossfire cup holder works very good, and for me is very practical. I've TRIED to toss my cup out with high speed cornering, but haven't been able to get it to budge. And for me, it's not in the way.
