I know it's a bit early and I never got the Crossfire, but at the last minute I had a change of heart. The other day I went to the dealership to talk to them about making a trade with another dealer for my Crossfire of choice. Turns out a saw a pretty navy blue 300C staring at me the entire time. So we took it for a spin and turns out, I ended up special ordering one (the only way I can get my dad's employee discount). I figured the 2 seats in the Crossfire might bite me in the rear one day knowing me. I ordered a black 300C with all the bells and whistles except for the satellite radio. Delivery should take about 8-12 weeks. Being a member of this forum was awesome. I'd go on it every day and learn all kinds of crap about the Crossfire. My only problem now is that I can't seem to find a 300C forum . If any of you know any forums or websites I can go to to learn more about my new car, let me know! It was great being a member on here and I'm sure I'll be visiting some more. 8)

By the way, and don't tell anyone, but the Hemi powered 300c is faster than the xfire.. ..but only in a straight line!! :lol:

THE 300C has to be the meaneist saloon motor out there.

I was looking forward to trading mine in for one but they don't arrive in the UK until late 2005. It would of been black, with blacked out windows.

Why don't you wait for the SRT 8 ?

 

I'd love to wait for the 8 but I need a car for school now. It sounds pretty crazy to me though. 6.1 liters, 20 inch rims, 0-60 times of about 5 flat. All for under $50,000. The regular C should be enough for me. I'm still looking for forums or websites with more information/tuning parts for em in case I decide to up the ante down the road.

Me, I prefer the looks of the Magnum over the 300C. It's highly likely once the SRT Magnum is out and pricing stabilizes, there'll be something new in my garage (much as I love my Crossfire). Unless of course that 4-door Crossfire-looking thingy (whatever it's name was :?: ) is announced for sale.

the crossfire and the 300 share a design element that was created by the "tuners" who came back after ww-2.

chopped and channeled.

new cars haddn't been designed since the late 30's (tanks and planes and such came first) and the young guys were running out of things to do with that old stale metal. they decided to make 'em lower...like today, by messing with the suspension but also by chopping the roof supports and windshield etc. lowered the whole roof by several inches. sometimes got so silly you were riding crouched-over and looking out thru a slit. that cool gangsta look of the 300 and crossfire is identical to what they did with the old chevys and fords except that, back then, they always leaked like mad.

PP, hate to see you go but wish you lots of luck and smiles with your 300. As to other forums, Edmunds has a Town Hall. The only problem with it is that IMO the only people that use it are the ones who want to ***** about DC products. :evil: I used to go there for my Sebring convertible until I got sick of it and found a good site (similar to this) for Sebring convertible owners.

 

Congratz Prince! I'm sure I'll see ya on the roads in michigan at some point! its sad to see you not get a Xfire because you really deserved it as a owner... usually im very much against a michigan person buying a Xfire cuz IMO there are too many ... but good luck with the 300c! I love that car
