Ok, if you absolutely have to drive your car in the winter, don't forget to add about 100lbs. of ballast in the trunk.
As previously suggested, get a dedicated set of 18" winter wheels and tires. 60 or 65 "series" would probably work the best. Remember, when it comes to winter driving, skinny tires with an agggressive tread pattern trumps wide tires any day.
Plan to spend a lot of "quality" time at the touchless car wash.

Yes, there are stock XF sizes available in blizzaks, that is what I have on my OEM rims. The 18" wheel options may have a little better bite, but as I previously stated, I NEVER had a problem as long as the snow was not over the bottom of the bumper. IMHO it makes more sense to have a set of OEM wheels with winter tires, and some nice, clean aftermarket wheels with nice soft rubber for the summer

Get the most out of the toy that costs so much to maintain...

 

I drive my Crossfire everyday. I bought a set of snow tires and I have been stuck once, that was in my own parking lot at work, and they didn't remove the snow. Buy some snow tires and you will be good to go.

 

Yesterday I ordered a set of 17" steelies with 215/50 Yokohama IG20s. The offset is +38 so I also purchased 15mm spacers for the rears. I was aiming for a rollout in between 81.769 and 78. 813 (the winter package will be 80.001). I'll take pics with them installed but it will be a huge improvement in traction. I drove my limited in the snow many times. I keep a set of snow tires on a spare set of stock wheels and load three cases of paper in the trunk on days it's supposed to snow. The only time I ever had a problem was when the snow was higher than the bumper. It became a real PITA changing four tires in the morning so I just started swapping out the rears. Haven't had any issues.
