2004 Crossfire mods (what's the best ones)
Well, its been years since I've posted or been on here much but I've had my 2004 Crossfire the whole time and still love it. Still only has a bit over 8k miles because I still only drive it on weekends. Just traded in the 2005 Altima for a 2012 MB C250 and I'm digging all the new features like Nav/DVD/Bluetooth/HID's/etc..and its really making me wanna update the crossfire with some more modern touches. Anyone have any info on:
Double Din dash kit. I'm seeing some pictures and vids of this but no real links to anyone making these. Are these one-off customs done by individuals? Bummer if so. This should be a kit & I prefer to drop the row of buttons down than to put 'em on the console. Check the links to see.
HID's/ LED/s Halo/Angel eyes (Canbus friendly)
Chrysler Crossfire 04-08 Oracle CCFL Angel Eye Halo for Headlights White
PlasmaGlow LED Headlight Strips, PlasmaGlow Lightning Eyes LED Headlight Strips - Videos, Installations & Reviews
03-up Chrysler Crossfire Parts at Andy's Auto Sport
2004 Chrysler Crossfire Headlights | Halo Projector Headlights
I would mention any wood/carbon fibre kits for the dash/console but a double din kit would mess that up and I'd rather have a double din setup.

The Halo kit is pretty cheap but you'll have to cut apart your headlights and its a bit of a tedious process... search around and you'll find plenty of posts about Hids/Halos
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...available.html
the LED strips just stick on to the outside of your headlights, unless you (again) cut them up and put them inside..
here's some inspiration for the double din https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...tml#post386828 but i think most people don't bother because, really, what's the point?
lastly, as far as carbon fiber kits go, there was a Mopar stick on kit that costs like $300-400 but your better bet would be to get them dipped with hydro graphics.. if you can take apart the interior and prep everything yourself, you could save some $$ as well

Thanks guys, it's been a few days since I've been able to get back on here.
it's sad the Crossfire was/is such a misunderstood car and never really gained the popularity it deserved thus making it hard to find certain really cool things you can find for more common cars. I am however glad it's never been a 'common' car.
Check out the pictures of wild headlights on this site. Pretty cool Headlights. Can't get 'em for Crossfire

if you're looking for some crazy headlights and have some $$ to spend, you can try and track down these:

Not sure who makes them, I think they're from Germany

Not sure who makes them, I think they're from Germany
wow yuck i posted about these years ago just to see if anyone ever bought them were did you get that pic? i wonder if that is a forum member? im not a fan of them now i see them installed and yes i believe CTD in germany only makes them anymore for like $2500+
that's a car for sale currently on autotrader.com
Wow, that's some crazy headlights for sure but not what I'm looking for, heh heh. Not even if they were affordable. Everyone has in mind what they are looking for my goal is to keep it euro- classy like what the newer Audi's Volvo's, Beemers, & Merc's are doing. I've noticed factory light strips are what's happening just like on my 2012 C-250 and that just may be the way to go for me.
Anyone have any details of where to hook DRL's to a source that is switched?
Also I'm still really anxious to find double din info from a real source that sells a kit. I've seen the photos of people who did this but somewhere there has to be an affordable product that makes this happen.
Thanks
