It somewhat is to me too.

It seems to me that if the pc movement didn't get started, people would have a thicker skin and not be so sensitive to this kind of stuff. You know, like when you were in school and was called a geek, nerd, bookworm or something by some bully, if you stood up for yourself there, the bully would look like the fool. It is like the pc movement is breeding a kind of soft-minded, sensitive mindset.

Of course we should respect diversity, and we all do (ok, most do), but should not have to tiptoe around the silly jargon intended not to hurt people's feelings.

Another $0.02 from me to all of you! But I give it out for free!

Don't think so. We were into freeing slaves at the time so if we had a side it would have been the north.

However I seem to recall we were having yet another bash in southern Africa at the time so we wouldn't have been too interested.

Once again, not really my period.

Dan... a heads up here on using "quotes" big guy. Seems like you may be having a little trouble with them?

First, you can push the "quote" button up in the right hand corner of someone's post and that will do it for you automatically. That's the easy way. Or you can cut and copy from someone's post and put it in your post. Then put
in front and then
at the end.

Like this:
This is the quote.
Hope that helps. If you need more info on it, PM me.

I read Aardvark's history lesson twice, but don't give me a quiz on it, because I think I'd fail!
Sounds too much like a "soap opera"!

Oh yes, as for the grill, I think it makes it look like a completely different car from the front, and I would opt to buy the one with the original.

Speaking of grills, I have to turn in my leased CTS Sept. 15th and I purchased a custom grill from the dealer that leased it to me. They installed it for me and gave me the stock one which I still have in the attic. Do you think I should take off the custom grill and replace the original one, therefore giving me the option of selling the custom grill pieces? They DID add the cost of the entire grill to my lease payment which was around $900.

p.s. I liked the CTS, but I LOVE my new Crossfire Roadster Ltd.!
