Default Horsepower Estimate

I have a 2004 coupe N/A that has the following mods. I was wondering what my estimated horsepower is after the mods?

74mm throttle body upgrade
Needswings single CAI
Magnaflow cat back exhaust
Eurotuned

you may be in the area of about 260 - 268 , there has been a few that push the 280 mark but that pushing it ,

Take a look in my Photo gallery at the Dyno sheets. Your HP should be in that ball park.
Keep in mind every Dyno is a bit different. There is a long list of factors that can make a difference in HP readings , but I think this should be close.

I do not think we can say numbers like 260, 268 or 280. To get those numbers you have to have the engine out and have it tested in a dyno cell.
To get those numbers roughly you have to get dyno numbers when the car is tested on a dyno and then add an estimate of the hp losses due to the transmission and accessories etc.

The best numbers are the normal dyno test numbers like bjames, valk and dave? give.

EC give numbers for the hp after their tune but they are numbers that can only have been achieved by using rwhp and adding a number for losses which may or may not be accurate.

I had the EC tune on my NA after the Mercedes air box and larger MAF addition etc and the benefits were not immediately obvious but slowly occurred after driving the car for a day or so. I would hazard a guess that the hp increase was not too much but the engine appeared livelier across the entire rpm range.

I'd honestly say 230-240ish at the flywheel. I don't think the TB or intake really add any power, they just change the feel of the car. The catback definitely adds no power. The tune should make the biggest difference.

Exactly 216hp, three less than you get with a K&N air filter.
