Re: 6 years ago........
Me too Doc. Gary you are so right about the friendships these cars have brought into our lives. I bought the coupe new in 2007 with only 40 miles on the clock. Six years later she rolled over the 100k mark at the spring Dragon. I can only hope the next 100K is as much fun and trouble free as the first.
For the record the roadster was bought used about a year later with 32 k on the clock as I replacement for the coupe that was originally purchased for my wife but she was never able to take delivery. The roadster now sports 72K.
These cars were made for driving.

Hi Valk - I think it is great that you mark the date of your purchase - shows just how special XF ownership is. And thank you for keeping us all up to date on many different issues. Also - thank you for caring about all of us and going the extra mile or two or three.....

I hear ya Valk!
December 20 will mark my 2nd Anniversary of my purchase and I still feel like a teenager driving my first car. I love the looks of the car and the looks I get when shes in my hands, "cruising me down the highway". Its too bad I cant roll the window down wave and shout..."look at me Im drivin', Im driving!" (must keep eyes on the road). Congrats to you my friend.

But we have the advantage of not having to roll the window down with our roadsters.

Topless is the way to go yes but the Coupes are quiter inside.
I am going on 5 years two months 18 days with my roadster. Crumpy is 4 years with her SRT coupe. We love them both.
Frankly there are many cars that would be just as much fun to own and drive. But Gary is right, the people you meetin a Crossfire make the difference.
Honda has a slogan, "You meet the nicest people on a Honda."
Well maybe so, but the coolest best friends drive Crossies.

No this is not me...it's my son's girlfriend! She's as pretty as my car!
Just more proof that what they say is true.

Re: 6 years ago...
Thanks to all for the kind words posted here
I'll continue to look forward to driving my Crossfire and seeing old friends and meeting new ones at Woodward and the Dragon every year.
And in a couple of years I hope to be driving a 6 speed Roadster.
For now my coupe is just fine and it just got new tires on our 6 year anniversary together.
