Default Need help mechanical problems

I almost didn't make back to the house. I had the crankshaft sensor and mystery no start previously, however this feel different. One month ago it did the same thing Chrysler said it was loose coils and misfires. Here are symptoms, driving along normally suddenly the throttle does not accelerate, I can maintain 15 mph tops, the engine sounds reved up, the check engine line only came on last month but not this time around. Usually to fix it I pull over turn the car off and back on. This time it would not, so I disconnected the battery, put the terminal back on and it temporally fixed it. Still no check engine light to get codes. My appointment is for the 6th of may at the dealership. I drove 700 miles since Chrysler fixed the loose coils and misfire codes. I have a Nitrous tuned ECU that I can put on if it drives well than its a ECU problem on the stock ECU that came with the car. Any thoughts???

take a look at the toy in my signature. This can pull up codes even if the engine light isn't on. I've had a few issues with my MAF causing some stuff to pop up even though my engine light has never come on. Also shows pending codes as well. Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks for emailing me back a few months ago when I had that nitrous question. Hope all is well.

Ok the car went into the dealership today. They said the problem is a Non Responsive Throttle body. I have the TVT larger throttle body from that older Mercedes. I also have a Sprint Boster. You think their right? They said a new one is $1700. Any other routes for obtaining a used one? Thanks please let me know

make sure the part # is 113-141-01-25 if you want the 74mm.

Thx guys hope its a Sprint Bosster failure, not the TB or Throttle pedal. I got my TB from TVT last time. Does the 74mm work without any modifications?

Yes, the 74mm will work with or without a new tune.
Just do a throttle reset, or disconnect the negative battery lead for 15 minutes and let it re-learn itself.

The car is working again. I made the dealership try my racing ECU and no driving problems so far 25 miles. I'm glad I did not have to buy a part and they only charged $46 for the issue. However I'm out a ECU (tuned by UPSOLUTE in 2006) I figure if that truly was the problem I lost $2000 by having a flashed ECU go bad. Super

Glad that you have it all working. If you are up for it this weekend, us Colorado Crossfire owners are having a maintenance/part upgrade day. You are welcome to join.

That ECU problem seems very strange to me. Bring it up here for the shop day on Saturday and we can check it out maybe just loose connections and the dealership just replaced the whole thing without really diagnosing the issue. Anyway would like to meet you so come on up like Evan said and we can look into it. Maybe you don't have a bad ecu. I have not heard of anyone needing to replace 1 before they are pretty reliable and I have swapped out mine and some others regularly with no issues.
