looking for a shift **** for my 2005 base coupe...manual transmission...Chrysler told me I needed to purchase the whole gear shift lever for $315.20...typical...anyone have a spare out there they want to sell? just the ****?

no...it has/had a paint defect...that over the years has gotten worse...looked like maybe a small bubble.. then it popped and cracked....just looks nasty and I have a car meet coming up...so am pimping my baby out needed to replace it and no way was I going to pay chrysler $315 for the entire gear shift lever...and i'm trying to keep my car as stock as possible...

hope you have found at least a temp replacement. Have you thought about a good refinish of the one you have. I think it could be filled sanded and refinished to look like new. I would be glad to give it a try, let me know!

Yes...I was going to try that...I have some of that Wurth silver paint for my rims...am assuming it isa pretty close match to the **** paint...haven't checked into it too much...a future project...one of many

 

hmmm...that worries me...I don't like surprises...lol...
