doesnt look like a lot of damage ? And its totalled ? Now I know why ins co is looking for any way to raise my rates !!!! Keep asking how many miles I drive per yr !!!

 

If I had that damage to my car I'd demand it be totaled if they wanted to fix it.

What happened?

 

No not a white one just plasti dipped matte white. I swerved to miss hitting something over corrected and hit a bunch of stuff. Ya it doesnt seem like too much till you get alot closer. front end dammage radiator and supports pushed against engine front bumper hood right headlight brake lines all out of wack windshield cracked fender destroyed pass window smashes door has scratches rear quarter panel bent scratches rear bumper torn tailight cracked. not to mention the throttle stayed engaged somehow and the car wouldnt turn of so it sat there for like 20 mins burning the tires. Thats all the damage i can see.

 

Well I guess that's one way of getting a replacement for a lost upper windshield trim, get a new car. Works for me.

 

If I had that damage I'd fix it. My work is better than theirs.....It satisfies ME.. gary....

 

Mine was repaired with more damage than that. But that was in Oct,04

 

I dont know if its totaled out or not still waiting on the appraiser to look at it. The car only retails at 8000 so im guessing it is totaled. Replacement parts plus labor prolly over the 70% value. The check engine light came on too. The car would not shut off in the accident and was stuck in gear spinning tires in the dirt for like half an hour till it died. So we will see it had 97000 miles on it.

 

Sorry to hear of the crash. Sounds as though you are OK which is the main thing. Take the money and go for an SRT-6.

 

I had an 07 350z that I racked up 10 grand in damages which insurance covered. After that the car was never the same, so hopefully they total it. If you end up parting out pieces I could use a left side speaker cover with chrome accent.

This season is really starting off with a "BANG!". So many Crossfires are losin' to a bruisin' while cruisin'. These cars are built like tanks so I thank God there were only crushed cars and egos and not fatal injuries. Im glad you're OK
