Crossfire 2.0 Survey
Hi everyone,
A few years ago you might remember that I posted some sketches on the forum of what I thought a second generation Crossfire might look like. Well, I decided to revive the project and design a 'Crossfire 2.0' to be built on a Factory Five Daytona Coupe chassis. Right now there are no plans to build the car, but I want your feedback on what you think the next Crossfire could look like.
Crossfire was my first production car design, and I've learned a lot since then. There's a lot I would have done differently with all the knowledge and experience I have today.
If you'd like to see some of my ideas and share some of your own, please take this brief survey:

Thanks, and I hope to see some of you on Woodward!

Hello Eric,
Some nice ideas you have proposed here.
I completed the survey as requested.
Good luck with your plans and thanks for allowing us to provide input into the design.
I have had my 2004 Coupe now for 6 years and still love the car.
Mine looks just like the one you have.
Hope to see you this year at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Memorial park at 13 mile and Woodward.(August 17th)
The thread link below has all the details so please look at post #1 as a parking pass needs to be requested and paid for in advance.

Survey completed. Sorry I cant make Woodward this year. Hey Eric, any thoughts on attending the Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle PA July 12th. I'm sure the 40 plus CICCI members would love to have you as a guests. Inbox or Facebook me if you're interested. I'm sure the club can find you room and board in exchange for your company.
Thanks everyone for all the great feedback! I got 92 responses so far...
Side view: Theme B (59.8%)
Front View: Theme B (42.4%), Theme C (39.5%)
Rear View: Theme B (63%)
Design that best captures the Crossfire heritage: Theme B (81.5%)
Looks like everyone's divided on the fronts, so I might have to do some more work. Themes B and C keep switching places as overall leader, which means neither are a clear winner. I might be back with another survey soon!

Just finished the survey. B really seems to catch it all while moving the design forward in a way that will be as timeless as the original. Thank you for your time putting these designs together and if something comes of it, any chance you'll looking for someone to help make them go fast?
Take care

Did the survey. Gotta love that Factory Five Daytona Coupe chassis. Spot on weight distribution. May work better with a forward open cowl.
Noticed that once you take the survey, you can't go back to the survey page. I found that if you copy the link, it will open in a different browser when pasted in the address bar.

Crossfire 2.0 Design Screen Survey
Hi Eric,
Front: i would prefer B. Always dreamed of a car that looks like the Crossfire Concept car 1.0.
Side view: I like the side view of Design C more than B. That's because of the windows section. But design B has the 3 fins - which are very unique and important for the Crossfire. So my favorite would be the windows of design C but with the fins on the fender of design B. Maybe this is possible from a designers view - i'm not a designer.
Rear view: I like B most, but have to say that C also is also sexy and maybe a little more modern. C is more unique.
To me it would also be very important to have an outstanding interior design. I think that is a lack of the production Crossfire car design. I don't know what are the possibilites in a "kit car" like the Factory Five Daytona Coupe. But personally i would like to have a well designed interior.
I've done the survey, but wanted to tell you more detailled aspects here. Hope that's o.k.
Regards
Markus
PS: Added a sideview. I know it's not perfect, because of the proportions. As said before, i'm not a designer.

I'm impressed by all of the designs but there are some aspects of each that I'd like to see combined. The one thing I'd really like to see is it called something else. Keep the CrossXXX or the XXXfire but make it its own car.
