Evening all,

I changed the oil and filter yesterday evening, now the engine management light is on, does anybody know what has caused this? Car is running and idling absolutely fine

I am not sure in my answer, but this happened on my Wrangler Jeep (both Chryslers) and the light stayed on when everything was good. It turns out that if you get a glip and something switches this on and everything is actually ok the light will stay on for 30-40 turns of the ignition key and then it will reset. Alternatively disconnect the battery and it will go off straight away if there is nothing wrong. I did this and hey presto it reset and haven't had a problem since and that was 2 years ago.
