need front spring but can't find one... in uk
I have been having problems with the handling of my crossfire and today I replaced my discs to find that the front passenger side spring has snapped. I have tried everywhere to find a replacement but I am having real trouble finding a oem replacement.
Does anyone have a part number or know if I can use a SLK version on the spring.
It has 2 red dots on it but that's all I can find.
If anyone has a link on ebay to a spring I can use that would be great.
If I do get one is it as easy as using a compression tool to remove and fit as it does not look like anything is bolted on and the shocker is not used with the spring.
Thanks Guys,

Haha, very funny,.
If you don't shorten the springs and use stock springs you'll never will get them back without a spring tensioner.
The Crossfire front springs are not Mercedes springs. They were designed for the Crossfire. They have no MB part number. Part number is A 193 321 0003
In europe there is a manufacturer called SPIDAN that is offering an after market front stock spring for the N/A.

The only other company who it could belong to is Karmann. It follows the MB standard numbering system, so I guess that may be it.
Perhaps it is a number system that exists only in the divorce settlement papers.

I needed a new front spring. None available in the US. My mechanic thought he found one in the UK, but it turned out to be a rear. Having a used spring installed today.
There are literally TONS of "coil/air spring" on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market, both NA & SRT6
