Rear-end rattle solved
Several weeks ago I posted about a rear-end rattle from hell. I tried the fixes various forum participants suggested but nothing worked.
Today Deacon's Chrysler went over the car. Work order says they retorqued the shock mount bolts --problem solved. Car #1149 is now rattle-free.
Additionally, the tire pressure sensor light would not go off. They reset it and everything now seems normal.
I would unreservedly recommend this dealer which is located in Mayfield Heights, a Cleveland, Ohio suburb. The service consultant Scott Evans was extremely courteous, professional and cheerful while the Crossfire technician Don did a great job which suggests he is very competent and knowledgeable about Crossfires.

I have just started noticing a slight rattle coming from the rear but haven't been able to determine where it's coming from. I'll be sure to have my dealer check the shock mounts when they fix the popping outa first gear problem. Thanks for the info.
Rear end rattle fixed in mine,,,found loose mounting bolts inside driver's side shoulder belt mount area. Dealer found after changing rear latch to no avail. Had rattles over bumps, but not any longer!
