Here in Illinois, Shell gas stations are running a promotion to give away a Crossfire. There are signs on each pump reading 'Win This Bad Boy". Pretty cool stuff. Anyone else seen it?

 

That promotion is here in Washington as well. They have the signs at the station where I get my gas. Maybe I will win a 2nd. There is room in my garage!!!!!!

 

They have the same promotion going on here in Houston. I took my CF in to the Shell station for a vehicle inspection (necessary before I could put Texas plates on it, just moved here). Anyway the guy doing the inspection just kept going on about how that was the car that someone might win and they were bringing everyone in the station over to look at it. God I love this car!!!!

DITTO here in Calif. Remember they need to expose the XF more because it's still very new ! They have to compete with VETTEs 50years and Mustangs and Porsches all in production almost 50years of building a following.

If DC wants to continue the XF name it will need to improve the 3.2 to 3.5 or a V-8.

 

We have the promotion in Michigan as well (sounds like it is nationwide). The first gas station I went to when I got my car was a Shell. I got out to fill up and saw a picture of my car over the pump. Kind of cool!

 

I went to a Shell near Fort Knox, KY and didn't see it.
I'll get gas tomorrow in Louisville, KY and let everyone know yea or nay.

The other day I brought up the weather.com website, and there were
Crossfires driving all over the browser window. Normally I can't
stand intrusive advertizing like this. But in this case I made an
exception. kind of fun to watch! It may have had something to do
with the Shell promotion. I forget what company it was, but they
were giving away 35 Crossfires in total.

 

yeah i'm from michigan too and it's all over. knowing that this is nationwide now, the person who wins that car is one lucky person!!!

i asked the station manager for one of the displays on top of the pumps and he gave me two. one of the local shell stations has 2 very large pictures staked in to the ground out front...i'm working on one of those.
