Do the seats have suspension?????
The bottom of my driver's seat tilts/pivots as if it has suspension or dampening. The back of the bottom portion of the seat, (where it meets the upright portion) tilts down when I go over a bump. Is this right? I asked the service folk & you all could imagine what kind of response I got. :?
I have experienced the same sensation. I doubt there is anything wrong with the seat. I think its very cool. It took some getting used to, but now I hardly notice it.
If its a malfunction, its one I don't mind having.

Hey this past weekend I was clearing out change under my seat.. I had the seat all the way forward, back leaned forward and seat up as far as it goes.
Lo and behold, our seats DO have suspension! I immediately thought of this post when I saw them... There's some decently big springs under there, that are clearly visable when you do what I just said.
So for the guy whose seat feels like it's extra bouncy.. maybe you got some bad springs.. check it out though.. they are there...

Thanks for the post. Actually I'm a woman. I took the car to a crossfire expert at a 5* dealer. He said the movement is normal. I tested a few others on the lot. Some had more play than others. The consensus was: the heavier you are, the less you will feel it.
This is quite the contrary to the (gentleman) that suggested that the problem was extra padding on my hips.
Standing outside on the driver's side, bend down and place your 2 palms on the outer edges of the rear-most portion of the seating surface. Use downward pressure. See if it gives.

Danny boy sure knows how to hurt a gal. Obviously, there is no excess padding on the hips.
I thought you drove a BLACK Dodge Ram.
