Reset service indicator?
That's a good question....mine is reading 8000.....isn't that too long to go between services? If you reset it, does it say '0' ? Or does it indicate the number of miles til next service? Thanks guys!

Hmmm.. default is supposed to be 7000. and it's counts down to zero for change oil time.. and -100 or whichever for past due..
And let's say the reset is finicky sometimes.. changed my coupe's oil and nailed reset first shot.. took three times to reset wife's new roadster.. -4700 LOL. Dealer had just changed it when we bought.. but didn't know how.. or gave up on resetting.

You tricked me.. thought we were still on service indicator.. but you switch hitted me..
So sorry, didn't mean to hit ya...I was trying to kill two birds with one rock, hehe. I will see what is going on with my service indicator. I am having issues getting photos posted of my new Crossie and I am frustrated with that too......too bad the Crossie doesn't reset itself after service. I believe the guys who did the oil change before I bought it forgot to reset it. So, now what do I do? I've been driving it since August. I can take the mileage when I bought the car and subtract from what's on the speedo now but can I adjust the numbers individually? ???

Cars these days are smart but reset itself? Someone would have to do something for a reset to happen.
I have not found it to be a problem, just do it until it works.
Last month I posted this in response to your photo downloading problems, didn't you get the memo.
