I have had my 04 Crossfire for a couple months now, and have only had to fix a couple things, (sticky key and ac filter) everything seems fine except for a strange problem with the fan speed adjustment.
Every once in awhile, as I adjust the speed, the blower will speed up or slow down on its own, as in today while sitting in the drive thru I brought it down from position 2 to 1 but the blower started blowing full blast for a few seconds then acted normal. It does this from time to time, turning it up or down causes it, and the blower can be faster or slower than intended.
So I am guessing a voltage regulator might be to blame, but I don't know enough about this car yet to diagnose it.
Any thoughts on what is causing this problem?

Either the blower resistor module on the blower itself, or a flakey control module assembly.
