I was going to post yesterday when I got the car, but instead I drove around metro detroit visiting all the people that wanted to see it... about 160 miles worth.... well worth it! I love this car, I don't understand why it got such mixed reviews from the media, I mean this thing is rock solid, goes like hell, and is actually pretty roomy. I was totally expecting this thing to be like an s2000, where you can't move at all, but I am 6,1 and have about an inch or so of headroom, and actually had to scoot the seat forward a couple of clicks to get comfortable with the wheel, which I pulled out a bit. For a four speaker stereo this thing kicks. I had an the externally amped, 8 speaker infinity in my truck and I believe this one sounds better. Anyway I just wanted to say I am happy to be an official member of this forum now, and can't wait to get this beast broken in...

Welcome, DavesX-fire! You made the right decision to keep on driving and not reporting to the board. Hehe. One thing though, you might want to count your speakers again...I think you will find there are 6. Whoops! Just noticed you have the base model...maybe they don't have 6??? Anyway, post your cars details in your signature...we like that stuff around here :-)

I have a 05 Roadster and it has 2 sub-woofers behind the seats that make the sound really awesome! You may have those too, they are hard to see.

 

Glad to hear you got your car. So does this mean that everyone waiting for a car from Lapeer Rd. has taken delivery? We should all find a time to meet up soon before the weather gets too bad.

Yeah I think I might be last the of the Lapeer people, my sis got hers on monday, I will have some pics up this weekend after I wash and wax the car its been drizzling a bit here.. 200 miles in 24 hours, took the girlfriend out for lunch and a drive, I absolutely love this car. Gotta get to class... nice hour drive!!!
