Dodge Crossfire revival?
I read recently in an article my friend sent me a couple days ago, that Chrysler was actually
considering bringing about the revival of the Crossfire.
Only re-built on a Dodge/Fiat platform. I think I remember reading they would use a Dodge Chassis, but certain Fiat parts for other areas(?) Correct me if that makes sense, I don't quite remember.
It was a short article, and I don't necessarily remember where he read it, I shortly deleted the page after wards. Now, wishing I would have kept it saved.
But wouldn't that be something?
They could have multiple versions of the XFire. Such as a XFire SXT. XFire SRT-8, SE, R/T etc.
It would be very interesting to see an already sporty brand release a coupe.
Thoughts?

Given the poor sales history of the Crossfire under the DaimlerChrysler regime, and the lukewarm consumer response to the latest Dodge car offerings (Dart & Viper), I doubt we'll ever see a Dodge Crossfire.
Look forward to seeing the article if you can locate it. Gotta be a reporter's wild speculation.

2012 Chrysler Crossfire
Am I missing something??? 2012? Do I need to make a trip to the Phillippines?

I found this but it is over a year old so who knows how accurate it is. Dodge has teased us with small two seat roadster before. Nowhere in the article does it say anything about reviving the Crossfire through.

I think the Crossfire was ahead of it's time. I think had it never been made and was a new 2014 model it would be very popular. But that's just me.
I think you are right. I just bought my srt6 roadster and every one is certain it's brand new and want to know who makes this cool car!
Only thing that even comes close is the Dodge Demon Concept but that's been around since 2007.

Latest announcement from Dodge is they have confirmed they will produce a Journey SRT6.
