Dodge Crossfire revival?
Sorta like the FORD GRANADA with a T-Bird label. "WTF is that?"
Its rather cool that the crossfire didnt sell very well. It was kinda always living in a shadow. I like that cause not many people I come in contact with have ever seen one or even know what it is. One time some guy at a gas station asked me, "That's a $100,000 car your driving, isnt it?"
and I agree, the car was ahead of its time. The Crossfire's looks are still ahead of the game! It sure looks a hell of a lot better than some of the crap companies are spitting out now days!

Well do not forget that FIAT also owns Alpha and Maserati and a few others. Personally think the coupe comes closest to a better proportioned E-Type coupe.
Also have had Corvairs (Corsas are great autocross cars but hard to a/c and pretty big these daze) and Fieros (had two GTs and both were hard to steer.
Doubt that a revival would look similar since the dies are probably in Germany but think an Alpha 4C with a 305 hp DOHC 3.6 Pentastar could be very interesting.
BTW what do you mean they did not sell well ? 76,000. Buick only sold 20,000 Reatae in four years.

Umm, not to be critical but there's no ph in Alfa.
All it would take, at some point in time, is for one leading automotive design expert to 'come out' and say that the XF is by far one of the best US designs to come out, certainly since the beginning of the 2000's. Then another opinion maker would agree but put his spin on it, etc.
My not humble opinion is that the new Corvette is a very good design, the Chrysler 300 is a pretty clean design, and recently when driving with a friend a matte black Cadillac (I believe) CTS with darkened windows passed us, quickly. Appeared to out sinister even a black XF with darkened windows. Wouldn't be on my shopping list, but I give Cadillac credit for distancing themselves from the ho-hums.
And the list ends there.

You mean it isn't FLAT either ? Guess it was just Greek to me.
Never had a Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili but have had an 850R, 1200 Spyder, and a 124 Spyder and had a FI split window I flew (poor airplane).
Bought a Crossfire just because I wanted something the size of a Fiero GT but a little taller so SUVs can see it and with power steering (getting lazy).
Did find that raising the seat put the steering wheel in the correct position and I could move the seat just a smidge further back so now comfortable. Guess my driving position (45 degrees reclined) is unusual since I see people wanting to lower the seat while I have sufficient headroom.
Could be really heretical and say I think it is what the Jag E-Type coupe could have been. That was a 6 also.

Keep in mind that the Crossfire is all about performance and thats because the Crossfire is really the Mercedes SLK320. You revive it without the Mercedes-Benz roadster platform and you're just slapping a nameplate on some car.
Never forget the definition of Heaven and Hell:
HEAVEN: An Italian suit and a German car.
HELL: A German suit and an Italian car.
