I reversed into a kerb on the weekend and lightly scratched the back bumper. I'm going to take it to the panel beater to get fixed in a couple of weeks. While I'm there i'm definitely going to get the silver trim around the windshield painted. My car is Graphite in colour.

 

I am really happy with the way my car looks after I got everything painted. I think it looks much better.

 

Agree 100%!!! I should have had my doorhandles done when I had the other trim painted.
I have always liked the "Mono" look.

 

i like the car as is, without any painting. i especially like the different color around the front window.

The silver trim around the windshield & the side fenders & the door handles are all getting painted!!!
It should look awesome once it is done.

Redcross did you get the side fenders done aswell as the trim around the windshield?

 

I also had the grill painted. You can see if you like that by looking in my gallery.

 

I only had the Windshield Band, the grille and the Airbox done.

 

I have a graphite coupe too. I'd leave it as is to be honest

I personally think the grille looks OK as is .... The only thing I'm unsure of is the side fenders & the door handles & the only way to see if I like it is to get it done & see what it looks like (it couldn't be any worse ... I hope!!!)

MightyJLR what do the side fenders look like painted ... are they still noticeable? ... do they blend into the car nicely? It looks great from the photo's but it is hard to imagine what it would look like close up.

 

RedCross's air box is the engine cover under the hood.

 

It blends in nicely. I think it makes them look much better. I had the black part between the silver parts on the side painted as well and it looks much less cheap. I'm not sure if I would have the black part painted on a graphite or any other color though. It might look nice with just the silver parts painted.

 

I just got my car back from the Lee Brothers. I couldn't be happier with the result.
