Everybody's a Critic
I think its important to review a car based on it's cost. I think some of the complaints were warranted when the car was new and stickered at $36000 and up. Now the crossfire is
probably the best bargain out there. I paid 7500 last spring for a 2004 graphite gray coupe auto with less than 34000 miles. The car is in showroom condition, always been garaged for the winter. For 7500, what could anyone complain about.

I've always wondered why tall people are attracted to small/smaller cars. The two Alfa Spiders in my shop as well as the coupe I recently finished restoring all have owners that are at least 6'2" and weigh on an average 220. These are really tiny cars. And the XF for my 5'9" 160 pounds is perfectly fine. In any event, the XF does cocoon the driver and passenger - which is not everyone's cup of tea.
The seats are fine for me, but I was amazed as to how the XF does Not handle SoCal's myriad of overnight repair jobs on the freeways. I does not remotely glide over them like a modern sedan does.
I forget what the 'payment' is but there are places which reward people for showing how to repair something or to simply work a tool. They're generally much shorter than the XF 'critic's' rambling.
