Default AutoX in the XF

So this weekend we had another AutoX points event, but for the first time ever it was actually near my home in Indianapolis, not a 1.5 hour drive. I did alright, was trying to see how some changes I was making to the car were working out. It was a nice day and while I was definitely not the fastest out there, I did win my class...

Enjoy!

There was no one else in the class (Street Touring Ultra) but that is beside the point

Wow, so you were second and third as well. A sweep. LOL
Looks like a lot of fun, I think I might get lost, turning left when I should be turning right.

I got an invite to an SCCA event from our UL inspector.. he has a 350z .. pulled up the web site and I would be the only Xfire it looks like. Was really considering it, then realized we have a bike run that Sunday.. Think I will keep up with there schedule and go have a play day.. LOL

It was fun, and on the more technical courses (this one was pretty small and straight) I have missed entire turns before because you are thinking about so damn much. It is a mental workout along with a physical one.

MrM I would recommend going out, I am not super competitive, but ALWAYS have fun. Your car can stand against a 350Z no problem, now the driver may be another story

Well you don't learn to crawl by sitting on your butt..

Just seems the Miata was so predictable in turns.. and this car just doesn't have that feel if you know what I mean..

I brought her home in one piece from the Dragon.. so I dun good.. LOL

I will admit when we were first on our way to the lodge.. that first set of zig zags and then the hairpin turn to the left.. well was a little exciting..didn't expect that..and front tire did do a little barking... along with the wife..
