Default new record holder here!!

crossfires have been out there for a little while now and i wonder how far they've been driven and what the high mileage record holders (of the moment) feel the car is holding up.

i am the current holder of the record for most miles driven with 13,879.

so far it wears really well. i have got absolutely no stories of little things falling off or breaking or stopping working. it's settling into utility status (he said, tempting fate bigtime!).

the tires ...well, um , especially the back tires for some reason, seem to be starting to get a little thin and slickish. my dealer signed a "tires for life" deal when i bought. there's a tire-guage-test in the agreement and i'm just waiting to see what kind of excuse they come up with to weasel out of replacing 'em.

it's almost as good for meeting people, all kinds of people, as a puppy.

guy, just some guy i never met before, asked me a couple of days ago how i liked the crossfire...after he mentioned all the vehicles specs and said they are all over the place in europe, he spends a lot of time in europe, and he was staring at it and maybe there was just a little bit of drool developing there...

i said it was the best car i've have ever had.

period.

dan...current record holder at 13, 879 !!

Thumbs up Re: new record holder here!!

Maybe I can be the Canadian record holder for now but not likely; I have approx. 10,500 kilometers on mine since April 04. I would have more but it is now stored away for the winter.
Us Canadians are at somewhat of a disadvantage because of our northern location and winter experience. Not griping just suggesting that any record holder will likely come from south of the border. Do I hear from other Canadians on this one?
Btw, no problems whatsoever. Great car and I hope it stays that way.

You're suppose to drive the car not just look at it.

23,000 here in the Boston area. Drives (and smells) like new.
Even the pilots sports are still in great shape. Very little wear at all.

I thought 30,000 was the record so far; we also got 29220.
Maybe Gailwrath has the record for the earliest build #!??

Dan, I'm just south of you about an hour. 20 feet from the beach. I just rolled 2000. Bought it end of Aug. (maybe subtract the month that it was in the shop). Glad to hear the smell still lingers. That's the best part.

that's the last 6 numbers of the serial #. drivers side dash, looking in from outside the car...all the way down at the bottom of the glass.

build date (month/year) is on a sticker in the door jam on the drivers door.
