Aero Blue Market
Wondering if I could get some input from someone as to why the Aero Blue colored Coupe's seem to be in a market of their own, always listed close to a thousand dollars less than an identical car in another color. Is it really that bad of a color?
I looked at one in person and thought it didn't have that "speed" look, it struggled to draw my attention, but would you buy the Aero Blue for a 1,000 dollar discount?
I was considering the mileage, condition, and history of the car less than the color. But this was for a SRT so the available purchase field is smaller.
I would have preferred a different color than black and my Reatta coupe is Sapphire Firemist. It really looks sharp. Must admit I am thinking about having the XF repainted Arctic white (a pretty harsh color with a hint of blue and no yellow) while keeping black accents to match the Judge and the 'vert. May work in some blue stripes (US racing colors)
Used to be a platinum judge but my cars never stay stock for long, GTO has added black hood tach & wing, 442 W30 suspension (much larger sway bars) with poly bushings, and WS6 Firebird 15x8 snowflakes. Of course I did that before the turn of the century.

Anyone who doesn't like the Aero Blue is color blind. LOL.. It was my choice for 4 Crossfire's. Still regret the day I sold one of them. Replaced it with a Silver Sapphire. Squirrel Crusher
I know this thread is a bit old, but it must be said that Aero Blue is a really blah color - I can't stand mine. Nope, don't like it all.

Polish it up right and Aero Blue has a lot of depth and richness to it that is sorely lacking in SSB, Silver, Oyster Gold and White. That's not a knock against those colors (I have a SSB Coupe as well as this Roadster) and I love the Crossfire in White. Just my observation on the various colors.
