Also, don't worry, I called to make sure that Walmart is a participating retailer and they are.

 

I am not sure???? It states its only valid at participating retailers. When I do a search from the Mobil1 web site it lists several retailers (including WalMart) but only NAPA seems to have the "Up to $15" rebate next to it. Am I wrong? Hope so.

 

I called the rebate customer service desk and asked just to make sure. If you buy the 5 quart jug from Walmart with no mobile 1 filter, you can get a 12 dollar rebate.

A mail in rebate sounds like it will work. Last year it was a coupon and Walmart does not accept home printed coupons.

 

It doesn't have to be a mail in. They have an electronic rebate where you scan a PDF of your receipt and fill out the form on their webpage.

 

So a buddy at work called to make sure that they accept Walmart, and he received a conflicting answer to the one I got when I called. Does anyone else want to call and post what they say to their calls? We are trying to get an email from them stating Walmart is a valid retailer. But in the meantime...

 

Went on Mobil web site and did a location search. Typed in my zip code and it listed Walmart. So my guess is it will count.

 

Around $3/qt plus tax (after $12 rebate when buying 5qt jug from Walmart) is the best deal I've seen for Mobil 0W-40. Stock up!

 

Deals going on again. I ordered a couple 0W40 and will probably put Mobile 1 in my truck too, since this price is cheaper than dino oil after rebate. Forums indicate many people get the rebate buying from Walmart/Amazon, though some say they did not or are waiting.

 

Awesome!!! Thanks for the heads up! I got 24 dollars back last time so I don't see why it wouldn't work again. I'm going to have a lot of oil saved up... I already have 10 quarts from when Walmart had their last sale.
