This is interesting and perhaps more of a N/A 6 speed thing. My SRT-6 EC tune kept the stock redline. The speed limiter was removed. When I asked and received a raised rev limit to 6500 rpm the car still shifted around 6050 rpm because the TCU was stock. I purchased a TCU with raised shift points but the engine kept hitting the rev limiter at the track so it ended up being useless. Now I'm back to a stock TCU which shifts at the stock redline even though the ECU redline is at 6500 rpm. In other words, if you have an auto, it will shift at the stock redline no matter how far the ECU redline was raised UNLESS you have a TCU tune that also has raised shift points.

Only the speed limiter was removed on mine. No way would I remove the rev limiter.
