Default Personalized plates - I got mine!

Okay, I tried twice to get this on a personalized plate by ordering through our local courthouse but the censors at the state level caught it and refused to issue. For the heck of it I finally tried ordering the plate online and for some unknown reason they were issued and I got a notice today that I could pick them up at the courthouse which I promptly did. I was not sure how to upload pictures on this forum so I uploaded the image to one of my domains and the URL is below. Please take a look as I am quite proud that I finally beat the system.

Hi guys it's me again. Someone had answered me re the crankshaft/camshaft problem. That person told me a tool to decider which it would be crank vs cam. I can't get that answer back. Somewhat computer challenged. If you could give me that tool number it would be much aprreciated as thought the problem solved as my tech put in Bosch crankshaft part and it seemed fine for 100 miles but again problem happened.

I don't know about Iowa, but here in Ohio, they can recall your plate at any time if somebody "catches" it. I'm not sure, but I've heard if somebody just calls the BMV and complains about it, it's brought up before a review board. Gotta be PC.

LOVE IT. Someone down below posted that the DMV can recall the plate if they want to. Here in MA that is true. It happened to a friend of mine and not because of it not being PC. But because they wanted it for someone else. He fought it but got nowhere. Enjoy your plate and I hope it doesn't get recalled. ME, I have the same number on my Avalon as is on my XF 114A only difference is the XF plate is a veterans plate. Kind a cool when parked side by side.

Speaking of parked side by side I was thinking of getting my wife "IGOT2P2"....thought that would be cool parked side by side but she voted against it.

Yeah, one that lives in San Diego but is out of this country a lot of the time. Now, why would you ask such a question?

O come on. People get way too serious about things. I think it's hilarious.

Everyone is entilted to their opinion , joke or no joke.
It would be interesting to see how many members think it's funny. But of course because I dont post much but read every post I will surely be degraded. I don't know other members by their first name so Im not part of the click.

I'm confused... how would you be 'degraded'? What does knowing or not knowing first names have to do with anything, especially 'the click'? In my experiences if you know something and contribute to the forum, and know a few names of folks, that means your actively involved in the spreading of beneficial information relating to our XF's to the point of saving many a lot of money.

It is easy to be an active member of this forum. There are 'clicks' but you don't have to be any part of them if you so choose. But living in Columbus you are welcome to travel along with 'us' to Woodward and the Dragon. You are not that far away to be a stranger and you can actually learn all our first names while traveling with the groups.

How do you enter a img without going the URL route. When ever I click on "Insert Image" it asks for a URL All I have is a J-peg image on my desktop with NO URL Thanks, Bill T.

If you have a FB account or any internet account put the picture there. (Easier than here) Then if you want it here, right click on the picture and select "properties". Copy and Paste the URL, pick the little mountain here and paste it...WAH_LAH a picture is born.

Same for gallery here.
