Default Should this gap be here?

I have had trouble with the panels in my car creaking and have had the dealers looking into it for me. I moved interstate and the new dealer informed me that when the original dealer did the tinting of the windows they broke the clips off the panels which caused the creaking. All the panels in the back have had to be replaced due to this. When they fitted the new panels to the back they have left a gap (see photo). Is this normal?

Can someone please post a photo of their trim if this is not normal.

My steering also makes a clicking noise on occassions when I first start up the car and turn the wheel slightly (no where near full lock). Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks.

that is normal...it's located just behind the seat...below the side rear window and header.

I agree it's normal. Mine is exactly the same as yours.
