Default Free Service Contract for Loaner Car..

I received a Service Contract, from Chrysler, at no cost, which provides for a loaner car from the dealer, even if you just leave the car for an oil change. It is good for three years or 36,000 miles. The brochure that came with it shows it applies to 2004 and 2005 Crossfires. I have not seen this mentioned, on the forum, although I may have missed it. Thought I would let the new owners know about it. I received it about three weeks after the purchase.

Yes...it's one of the "perks" of owning a Crossfire, Chrysler 300, or Magnum. It comes with every purchase. You probably need to notify your service advisor whenever you take your XF in for service. Not all of them are aware of the program.

purchased crossfire Jan. 20th. 2 weeks later, from Chrysler (not the dealer) received the luggage and the service contract. It stated the free service contract was for Crossfire and Pacifica buyers only.

The free loaner vehicle DOES apply to the 300, I was there today and asked them. I am in a loaner right now.

Default Actually Getting The Loaner Is A Horse Of A...

different color. Standard response when you ask about the loaner (in advance), "yeah you can have it if we have one". This is not an option, they **have** to provide it per Chrysler, but it's like pulling teeth trying to get it done...

Acura has the same policy and I get the same response from them as well. Only with them you have to book it at least a week or two in advance. Even when my car was stalling they said "sorry the loaners are reserved already at least week and a half". I think it is probably like that anywhere.

Default While That's Probably True,

they don't have an option of refusing you. If so, that could be taken up with Chrysler. If they don't have a loaner on the lot, they're supposed to rent one for you. Again, if it was more than an hour or two, I'd demand it, they have to comply...
