DAN: Just driving down the road like we did last spring with the Malibu Hook-up is pretty boring for a car of this caliber, don't you think ? I'm still pushing for the track days at Willow Springs, Button Willow & Laguna Seca. I guess the only Crossfire owning adrenalin junkies in S. CAL are myself and SASKINS.

Ok but most of us are just road racers and I would like to just have a little fun. And see some of the members.

You know you just threw a lot of Crossfire owners under the bus because they were out touring rather than on the track with you. From what I've seen, there were 15 or 16 cars on that trip, weren't there? I can see if "touring" isn't your bag but your statement is really way off base when someone is trying to get a trip going. Maybe you should also get in touch with the So Cal Lambo club and tell them the same thing. They did a similiar run in the same general area last summer. I'm sure it will go over real well with them, they would laugh you and your Crossfire off the street.
As for the Crossfire being a car of such "caliber", come on. It's a well built, 3.2L V6 MB, with a good looking American body that is being sold and serviced by Chrysler. Hardly a car of such caliber. One last thing, Chrysler in their own literature considers the car a cruiser, not a sports car.

This is a hook-up thread not a track-up. HDDP knows that, as for all us going there great I'd even do that but, remember your helmets!

Don't forget the Yosemite hook-up, it's going to be a big one!
That's me only younger!
love to go with ya Dan, but can't figure out how to get the xfire out there without driving it the salt up here. Plus a 3 day drive there and three days back for a one-day drive is kinda silly. Maybe next January when The Buckeyes play USC in the Rose Bowl for the National championship. Naw I'll probably fly out!
I'd disagree with all that mumbo jumbo too. Back when I had my WRX we did a cruise of like 10 WRX's and 5 EVO's. Cars obviously meant for rally and track days...yet it was a blast!
