Custom iPod Connection
I have seen that a few members have a custom iPod connection installed. Can anyone give me some info on the process? Where do they put the connection? How about cost and sound quality? Any advice or precautions?
I currently have an FM transmitter but the sound quality is average at best. Any help, advice, photos, etc. would be much appreciated. Thanks!!!

A. Stock Crossfire head unit, in order of sound quality
1. FM Modulator, hooks up inline with atenna lead
Quality: near CD but not as loud, Cost: < $75.00, Installation: Intermediate
2. FM Transmitter, many to choose from, plugs into cigar lighter
Quality: near FM broadcast to ****-poor, Cost: $10.00 - $50.00, Installation: Idiot proof
It has been discussed at great length's that the Crossfire head unit has all the connections in the back, it does not have the internal components to use those connections.
B. Replacement head unit
1. Direct connect to Aux-in, might incur additional cost if an adapter is required
Quality - CD level, Cost - $200.00 - $4,000.00, Installation: Moderate
"I'll take option C.", "Option C? There is no option C", "There's always an option C"
?? what movie ??
Anyhow...
C. Retrofit a Becker Monza MP3 head unit
1. Direct connect via Aux-in, Cost: around $750.00, Installation: Expert
